Originally from Wisconsin, USA, Kim now calls Costa Rica home and has confidence in our power to transform the world around us. She believes the world is a classroom to be explored. She has over 20 years experience in youth program facilitation and educational programs and 15 years in the travel service industry. She is passionate about creating community and empowering local initiatives.

Alex is passionate about helping others develop strength, habits and values that support long term health and wellness. By profession he is a physical therapist with 20+ years of professional experience, however since moving to Costa Rica from Venezuela, he was convinced that it is a wonderful place for people to heal. Our guesthouse is warm, welcoming and always immaculate thanks to Karol and Flory, our amazing Casa Alma team. Thanks to them we can always be sure that our guests are well fed and out the door on time, that our guides and drivers have what they need and are two additional right hands for all the collaborators of Alma! They are both from Costa Rica and love to practice Spanish with you!
